15 March 2009/ Concert of Michel Sogny Sos Talents Foundation
Michel Sogny, pianist, composer, PhD in philosophy and Lithuanian honourable consul in Geneva, founded his piano school and opened a Sogny Academy in Paris in 1980 and established his name’s SOS Talents Foundation in 2001. In Vilnius, Michel Sogny SOS Talents Foundation will hold a concert of young talented pianists with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
This concert will be covered live by the international music channel Mezzo TV for 38 countries of the world, which have around 16 million subscribers. Afterwards plans are to repeat it four or five times. The broadcast will be accompanied with the special 15-20 min Mezzo TV report about Lithuania and its capital, which celebrates the year of European Capital of Culture and commemorates its name millennium.
