BNS: Lithuania leads in Baltics by registration of domain names with .eu extension

VILNIUS, Apr 06, BNS - Lithuania leads in the Baltics by registration of domain names with .eu extension. Lithuania's natural and legal entities have already registered 9,400 addresses with .eu extension. In Latvia, the respective number is 7,100, and in Estonia - 8,200, EUrid reported.
According to the latest data provided by the organization, Germany is the absolute leader in Europe with 928,000 domain names with .eu extension registered, followed by the Netherlands (416,000), UK (353,000), France (252,000) and Poland (175,000).
The European Union (EU) companies, NGOs and natural persons have already registered more than 3 million domain names with .eu extension since the launch of registration three years ago.
