DALIA GRYBAUSKAITĖ CONGRATULATES THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF FRANCE

President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended congratulations to the newly elected French President, François Hollande.

"France is an important partner of Lithuania and a major supporter of united Europe. I strongly hope that in the years of your leadership bilateral relations between our countries will grow even stronger and that this dialogue and cooperation will be further enhanced by ideas and initiatives of significance to all European nations ," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.

Dalia Grybauskaitė wished President-elect François Hollande success and strength in discharging the important and responsible duties of his position.
