Lithuanian culture and history showcased during Brussels Heritage Days
For the second year in a row, we took part in the Brussels Heritage Days (Journées du Patrimoine) and opened the doors of the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the European Union to residents and visitors.
During the tours, we visited the historic premises of the Representation, explained the history of the building, which is more than 170 years old, and presented what we are doing in Brussels, the capital of European affairs.
We also treated our guests to a variety of Lithuanian delicacies, told them about Lithuanian culture and history, and invited them to take part in a competition dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Vilnius.
We hope to join the Heritage Days event in Brussels again next year, so stay tuned and don't miss the news.
