Lithuanian Team wins the third place at the inernational tournament in Brussels
An international US Army Garrison Brussels Intramural Basketball Tournament 07 took place last week at the American School in Brussels. The Lithuanian Team won there the third place.
Altogether seven teams participated in the Tournament, namely, four American teams, Greeks, Spaniards and Lithuanians. Lithuania was represented by a joint team made of players coming from the EU and NATO Representations. The game was conducted according to the rules of the American Basketball Federation
Nerijus Aleksiejūnas, Kęstutis Jankauskas, Edvinas Kerza of our Representation played for the Lithuanian Team.
At this year's Tournament the Lithuanian Team conceded the first and second places to the Americans. Last year, when the Lithuanians participated in such a Tournament for the first time, our Team took the fourth place.
