On the occasion of the Lithuanian State Restoration Day, Martynas Levickis' accordion music was performed at the Brussels Town Hall

On 13 February, the Brussels Town Hall welcomed the world-renowned accordionist Martynas Levickis to celebrate the 106th anniversary of the Lithuanian State Restoration Day, jointly organised by the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the European Union (EU), the Embassy of Lithuania to Belgium and Luxembourg, the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to NATO, and the Lithuanian Military Representative to NATO and the EU.  

More than 300 invited guests from Belgium, other countries, the EU, NATO and other institutions gathered to listen to a talented Lithuanian performer and to commemorate one of the most important dates in Lithuanian history. The event was opened by a welcoming speech by the outgoing President Dalia Grybauskaitė, who was in Brussels.

He has won more than 30 international awards and is recognised for his virtuosity and versatility in the classical and contemporary repertoire. Whether solo or in collaboration with internationally renowned instrumentalists and orchestras, Martyn's musicality, charisma and dynamic performances continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
