PRESIDENT OF LITHUANIA MS DALIA GRYBAUSKAITĖ VISITS BRUSSELS
Lithuanian President Ms. Dalia Grybauskaitė is coming to Brussels on the 25-26 of August. Ms Grybauskaitė will meet with Jose Manuel Barroso, President of European Commission, NATO's Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and President of European Parliament Jerzy Buzek.
On Tuesday, President Dalia Grybauskaitė will meet with the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, to discuss financial stability and economic situation in Europe and to decorate the European Commission's President with a state award.
The President of Lithuania will also have a meeting with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. The parties of the meeting will exchange views on NATO's new strategic concept and a strengthened defence of the members of the Alliance.
On the second day of the visit, August 26, President Grybauskaitė will meet with the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek to discuss topical EU issues and the issue of evaluation of totalitarian regimes.
President comes back to Vilnius late Wednesday evening.
