Lithuanian President Ms. Dalia Grybauskaitė will held a press conference on actual EU matters in LT Press room on Thursday, at 16 45 in the Council.

President Grybauskaitė leaves for working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium

Wednesday, October 28, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė leaves for a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.

During her visit, the President will meet with His Majesty Albert II, King of the Belgians, and Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy.

Thursday in the afternoon and Friday, Dalia Grybauskaitė will attend the European Council meeting.

The European Council will address EU institutional issues, the financial situation, climate change, and illegal immigration.

Heads of State and Government will also discuss energy security, the Baltic Sea Region Strategy and EU external relations.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė will return to Vilnius Friday evening.
