In view of the impending presidential elections in Ukraine, the Convening Group of the Community of Democracies wishes to underline the crucial importance of compliance of the elections to Ukraine’s international commitments and continuation of democratic reforms.

The world’s democratic community in close cooperation with the internationally recognized election monitoring institutions keenly follows the process of election organization in Ukraine and looks forward to work with the democratically chosen leadership of Ukraine to promote the principles of democracy, rule of law, human rights and market economy, crucial for continuation of democratic reforms in the region.
