“The Doll Is Home Alone” is the newest of the artist’s exhibitions. It is very personal though it speaks about a very familiar object – the doll. A doll, a mask, me. It is never the same, never repeated. The doll is naughty, she hides in the darkest corners, she dresses for a carnival, she climbs into the pictures of other artists, she performs in a theatre, she is after the dark crocodiles of your mind. Creation is a game of “Life”, which is played by forgotten toys, by children, by adults….Experimental works by Jurate, mystifying in their form and innovative in their concept remind us – do not leave your game unfinished, lest somebody should change the rules."
