THE PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES THE ELECTED HUNGARIAN LEADER

President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended congratulations to President-elect János Áder of the Republic of Hungary on his victory in presidential election.

“I am confident that bilateral relations between Lithuania and Hungary will grow even stronger in the years of your leadership and that our dialogue and cooperation within the European Union will be enriched by new ideas and initiatives of significance to both our nations and to Europe as a whole,” she wrote in her message of congratulations.

The President wished the elected Hungarian leader every success in this important and responsible position.
