The President of the European Commission and the Commissioner Dalia Grybauskaitė visit Lithuania

Today at 4 pm, a plane lands at the Vilnius Airport bringing the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso for his first visit to Lithuania. The Member of the Commission Dalia Grybauskaitė stays in Lithuania from 26th March till 2nd April next.
They will meet the Chairman of the Seimas Viktoras Muntianas, the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, the Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas, Lithuanian media representatives.
Together with the President Valdas Adamkus, Jose Manuel Barroso will open an exposition "Old Lithuania" on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of the Rome Treaties, at the Chodkeviciu Palace in Vilnius.
At the Arsenal Palace, the President of EC will also open a symposium on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of the Rome Treaties.
Jose Manuel Barroso will stay in Lithuania for two days.
