UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT TO VISIT LITHUANIA

Tuesday, February 5, Vilnius - On Wednesday, February 6, President Dalia Grybauskaitė will host Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych who will be paying a visit to Lithuania. The Presidents will attend the sixth meeting of the Council of the Presidents of the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine.

The Lithuanian and Ukrainian Presidents will discuss the Ukraine-EU relations, bilateral ties and economic cooperation. The meeting will also touch upon the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit due in autumn in Vilnius - one of the events scheduled to take place during Lithuania's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Dalia Grybauskaitė and Viktor Yanukovych will sign a roadmap for the development of the strategic partnership between the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine for 2013-2014.

The agenda also includes the signing of bilateral agreement on cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine in the sphere of psychotropic substances control.
