Vilnius Opera Festival

The programme of the first International Vilnius Opera Festival will include recognised opera classics and authentic baroque opera performances, experimental theatre and new Lithuanian opera. Plans are to include the tour of the legendary St Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre and internationally acclaimed Israel Opera Theatre, experimental spectacular programme of Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Baltica chamber orchestra, as well as the new production of Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre featuring foreign stage masters.
